The Election
I think it is pretty safe to say that the election had the whole country (and still does) divided and against each other. However, it is also safe to say that newspapers around the nation unveiled in a few different ways. As we see in The Washington Post’s title “Agonizing To The End”, it is fairly clear that the newspaper is not too thrilled with the new president. This is because The Washington Post is known to be a more liberal leaning newspaper. In contrast, the Dallas Morning News has a more exciting, flashy title in saying “Trump Triumphs”. This is because the Dallas Morning News is a southern, more conservative leaning newspaper.
