All
the President’s Men
This incredible film, based on the true story of the two
men who uncovered and followed the breaking news story of Watergate, is a
wonderful reminder of what a journalist should be. This film also shows that
these men wanted the American people to know what was going on inside their own
government. Their service to the nation can not be understated, and their
coverage of the Watergate scandal was unprecedented. A great quote from the
book regarding journalism and reporting, “If you shoot too high and miss, the everyone feels more
secure. Lawyers work this way. I'm sure smart reporters must, too. You've put
the investigation back months. It puts everyone on the defensive - editors, FBI
agents, everybody has to go into a crouch after this.”
