Investigative Journalism
The city of Frisco is an emerging city with plenty of growth in the past few years but with that growth can come some obstacles. One large recent issue that the city faced was the increasing water rates at which the people of Frisco were using. When I first heard about this, I was not surprised at all because I knew that the city's population has been growing rapidly and that would only increase the amount of water needed to supply these people. When asking my dad about the issue, he said that "it was not a surprise" and that "it was only a matter of time" before Frisco ran into water rate issues. He also continued a little on about how the standard of living costs would sky-rocket due to the amenities that the city had to offer like the Star and the new Toyota HQ. Listening to his points, I could definitely agree with him, Frisco growth rate was destined to have its own run-in with a few issues and water rates was one of them.
