All the news that people consume on a day-to-day basis would not be possible without the hard work of many journalists who painstakingly search for the information. One such journalist is Anderson Cooper. He began his early life as a freelance reporter but later advanced his way up to having his own newscast on CNN called Anderson 360. In interviews with Cooper, he said that he became a journalist because of his past "terrible losses" and wanted to get the stories of others who "spoke the language of loss." This results in multiple trips to around at least 4 different countries in around 2 months time frame including Singapore, Brazil, Seoul, and much more. All the while, coming back to his studio at CNN to hosts his show 5 days a week. Cooper believes that his ability to actually go to the source of the news and document his findings help create a more believable and realistic newscast for the stories he puts out.
